Comments:
The 10 Plagues of Egypt were the prelude to the Exodus from Egypt.  It was not until all ten plagues had happened that Pharaoh finally let the people of Israel go.

The 10 plagues, listed in order, were:

  1. Water turned to blood
  2. Frogs
  3. Gnats / Lice
  4. Flies - not in Goshen where the Israelites lived
  5. Death of livestock - Israelite livestock not affected
  6. Boils on humans
  7. Severe hailstorm
  8. Locusts
  9. Darkness - lasted for 3 days, but not in Goshen
  10. Death of first-born sons: humans and cattle - except for those who wiped blood on their doorposts
